Liturgy of St. Basil the Great
Finished and perfected, so far as we are able, is the mystery of thy incarnate work, O Christ our God.
For we have kept the memorial of thy death,
We have seen the figure of thy resurrection,
We have been filled with thine unending life,
We have rejoiced in thine unfailing joy.
Grant that we may be counted worthy of that same joy also in the age to come.
